Andrew Maynard worked in a City firm of solicitors in London before qualifying as a solicitor in 1974. He was employed by a number of London Law Centres and then by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea before establishing his employment law practice in West London in 1985. In 1991 he transferred the practice to Bath. His principal areas of expertise are:

• Employment law litigation, including handling the advocacy before Employment Tribunals and the Employment Appeal Tribunal

• Drafting Employment contracts and procedures for Companies

• Corporate training in employment law procedures, including disciplinary, capability, grievance and equal opportunities procedures

• Negotiating severance packages

Apart from undertaking specific projects, Andrew Maynard can supply an ongoing HR support service for companies involving the production of contractual documentation, management training and telephone advice to deal with workplace problems as soon as they arise.
